Jessica Jiyoung Park was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1996. Since the age of 14, she moved and lived independently in different parts of the world including the United States, China, and Italy. Her nomadic life experience left an indelible mark on the process driven works she makes today.
Jessica Jiyoung Park earned her BFA in 2020 from Cornell University, College of Art, Architecture, and Planning. She took off her career first in children education and rekindled her art practice when she moved back to the United States in 2023. She is currently based in Illinois, United States.
